Admission to the International Relations (IR) Program is competitive. Approximately 300 students are enrolled in the program at any given time.
Students request entry to either the IR specialist or IR major program after they have successfully completed at least one year of study in the Faculty of Arts & Science (minimum 4.0 credits).
Students must achieve the minimum average grades in the pre-requisite courses to be considered for admission to the program. Achieving the threshold mark does not necessarily guarantee admission to the program in any given year. Students who are not admitted to the program may re-apply for admission in a subsequent year.
