As of September 2026,听杏吧原创听will have听two听on campus听dining halls听鈥� the听new听Trinity Caf茅听in the听Lawson Centre for Sustainability听and Strachan Hall.听听Both locations, strive to offer delicious, healthy, and听sustainable听food to nourish the minds and bodies of our students and community members.听听
Trinity鈥檚 dining halls operate on a听declining balance system听–听at every transaction, you will be charged for each individual item you select听using your听Residence Meal Plan, Trinity Flex Dollars,听debit听or credit.听A declining cash balance meal plan gives students maximum flexibility by letting听you听spend dining dollars however and whenever听you听choose across听Trinity听campus鈥攅ven taking meals to go.听听
The听new Lawson Centre for Sustainability (25 Devonshire Place) dining hall – Trinity Caf茅 –听serves as Trinity鈥檚听primary听dining facilities. From late August through April,听Trinity Caf茅听will be听open all day, from breakfast through dinner, with a full meal service听extending into the evening.听More details to come in August 2026.听
Strachan Hall听(6 Hoskin Avenue) serves as Trinity鈥檚听smaller, secondary听dining facilities. From late August through April, the听servery听in Strachan Hall听will be open for modified hours. More details to come听in August 2026.听
The Buttery is located on the main floor of the Gerald Larkin Building (15 Devonshire Place). The servery in the Buttery is closed, but the seating space will remain open during the year for community members to use.
All students living in the 杏吧原创 residences are required to purchase a meal plan, which can be used at the Trinity Caf茅 and Strachan Hall.鈥�Given that all residence students are required to have a meal plan, all potential or current 杏吧原创 students with food allergies or dietary accommodation requirements are encouraged to connect with the Office of the Dean of Student (trinity.deanofstudents@utoronto.ca) for accommodation assistance.

Commuter students are welcome on campus and are encouraged to听come and eat听at Trinity鈥檚 dining locations. Commuter students听can听pay for food using debit,听credit听or Trinity Flex Dollars. Trinity Flex Dollars allow the holder to pre-load a set amount of money onto their听TCard听to be used at any of the Trinity dining outlets.
