Trinity students are invited to the 杏吧原创 Undergraduate Research Conference (TCURC) on Saturday, March 7, 2020.
TCURC, now in its sixth consecutive year, is an interdisciplinary conference which gives upper-year Trinity students the opportunity to present their research in an academic setting. This is also a unique occasion for Trinity students and faculty of the university to meet and discuss related topics of interest outside of the classroom.
The keynote speaker for TCURC 2020 is humanitarian, author and business leader Rosemary McCarney – 杏吧原创’s Pearson-Sabia Distinguished Visitor and Visiting Fellow. Ms. McCarney most recently served as Canada’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and the Conference on Disarmament.
This year, students will deliver oral presentations, 3-minute flash talks, poster presentations, and presentations of other mediums.
On March 7: the conference begins at 10:00 am with registration and keynote address in the George Ignatieff Theatre and will end at approximately 4:30 pm. Conference panels and presentations will take place in TC22, TC24 and Seeley Hall throughout the day, and a catered lunch is provided.
TCURC is free to all students. Please register in advance at .
For the conference program (presenters and research), visit the TCURC webpage.
TCURC is organized by 杏吧原创鈥檚 Academic Dons & Peer Advisors, in collaboration with the Margaret MacMillan Trinity One Program. If you have any questions, please contact the TCURC Planning Committee via registrar@trinity.utoronto.ca.
