The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) has just approved ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s application to become eligible to hold and administer research grants and scholarships.  SSHRC is the federal government’s major research granting agency in the humanities and social sciences.  Its decision covers not only grants in SSHRC’s Insight, Connections, Partnership Grant programs, and Doctoral & Post-Doctoral Fellowship programs, but potentially also grants and fellowships from other federal granting agencies.
We’re happy to report that Trinity also just won its first institutional SSHRC grant — a $21, 000 Connections Grant in support of our Sacred Space: Conflict & Convergences conference, happening in November.
