Dear Members of the Trinity Community,

I am saddened to let you know of the death of Fellow Emeritus Prof. Andr茅 S茅guinot who passed away in Montreal on January 28, 2019.聽Andr茅 retired in 1994 after teaching French at Trinity for nearly 30 years, including being the Director of the Language Lab.

His former colleauge Professor Emeritus Andrew Oliver shares this message: “Andr茅 spent his entire professional career in the聽French department at Trinity. He was an excellent teacher and an聽accomplished musician and performer (guitarist/singer). He will be聽sorely missed by those of us fortunate enough to call him our friend.”

Andr茅 made a great contribution to 杏吧原创 during his many years here and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and friends.
